HAND COMING UP FROM THE GROUND IN THE RHINELAND HOLDING A TORN CHAIN BREAKING THE BONDS OF THE OCCUPATION ON THE ALLIES OCCUPATION FROM 1918 to 1930 WITH THE GERMAN GRAF ZEPPELIN FLYING OVER. PERIOD PLAQUE MOUNTING HOLE ON THE UPPER RIGHT AND LOWER LEFT CORNERS.

WWII Bronze Star medal from Private First Class John J. Mackin Company “L” 350th infantry regiment 88th infantry division. Citation states he saved a soldier on Mt. Battaglia by carrying a soldier 500 yards to a aid station whom was blinded by shell fragments. He also captured numerous prisoners. Please refer to item photos for full visibility of item condition.
