Imperial German World War I Miniature Pour Le Merite Blue Max Decoration Medal. Measures 13/16 wide by 13/16 tall. The front has Kings crown on the upper arm with an F below. It reads Pour Le Merite. The reverse side is blank. Has an eagle in each corner with powder blue enamel inside a brass frame double sided. The brass lapel button is maker marked and reads Godet & Sohn Berlin with a star burst in the center. Includes the presentation black cotton and flat silver bullion wire ribbon attached above. This was Germanys highest award for gallantry in combat action during WWI. Otherwise, I reserve the right to cancel your order.
