World War Medals

If you are reading this I would guess that you are interested in Royal Observer Corps medals and already know how much rarer a medal presented to a female is. Secondly, there is also a considerable degree of rarity for these medals presented to officers. Added to the above two points is the fact that this pair was also presented to a husband and wife which I have personally never seen before and I’m sure must be ever rarer. These particular medals were awarded to OBSERVER OFFICER W. And his wife OBSERVER A. Medal awarded 1961, bar issued 1973 served with 13 group [Carmarthen]. Alice May WEALE Medal awarded 1964. Served with 13 Group. The officers medal has the clasp and there is also a pair of patches included. Apologies for the photos but I will put some better ones up when I get chance.
