These are the medals of Pvt. Kane of Rochester, NY. He served in Company H of the 309th Field Artillery Regt (78th Div) and the 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Division and was wounded on October 8, 1918. The medal ribbons are faded on one side from being displayed in a frame by the family for many decades. PH is named and numbered (cannot photograph the number as it is too small, but it looks like 40688). New York State medal is also numbered (26266).
