Offered is an original WW1 Gallantry Medal group to William Bew. Bew served with Battery D. He was cited in G. 53 for a heroic act near Chateau-Thierry on June 23, 1918. The group consists of his named and numbered Gallantry Medal (in its original box and mailing box addressed to him), his 5 bar Victory Medal in original box and mailing box addressed to him, 1941 published 2nd Division Summary of Operations in the World War and magazine article detailing the Gallantry Medal (which I believe prompted him to apply for the medal). Also included is a copy of the AGO award card documenting the award of this medal. A nice original group that needs to be researched further. Please feel free to ask any questions.
