Alice M Cowens was born in October 1889 at Stockton Durham and in 1911 she was a Governess aged 21 to a Clergyman in Muggleswick, Consett. Alice M Cowens also had a Silver War badge being discharged on 1 June 1919 as Medically Unfit. I have also found out that Alice Muriel Cowens was born in 1889. She married Arthur De Carle Sowerby in 1946 in Shanghai, China. A record of this will be sent with the medals. Medals come with original full size ribbons.
