This is an original government engraved USCG Good Conduct medal named to. U. S. C. G. I think Patrol was a C. Boat assigned to the New York Harbor area at the time. They would have been knee deep in Rum Runners during his era. The ring attached to the planchette was repaired as a previous owner twisted it. They did a nice job.
