WW2 Iron Cross Knights Cross 1955 Version, which was given to veterans following the war. It has a silver frame, three piece construction with a magnetic core. Silver frame is also marked 800. Comes with the suspension ring and ribbon for west. The core is NOT MAGNETIC. That said ST&L iron crosses post war could be both magnetic and non magnetic. A quick internet search on this topic can be found easily. Also the iron cores, in later models were painted with a black enamel, which this one shows.
