Jack William Freeman Caban was born in Brandon, Suffolk on 28 Nov 1906. He enlisted as a Devonport man on 28 November 1924. Awarded the LSGC in 1940 he was still serving in early 1947. Jack’s death was registered in Derby in the last quarter of 1984. He married Lilian Henshaw in Ilkeston Derbyshire in 1966. Group nicely mounted as worn.
