A nice World War II German Panzer assault badge in bronze grade. This variation is a rare hollowback version zinc Construction. The pin catch and hinge are intact on the reverse and is correctly marked with the Assman A on reverse. There’s a wonderful brown chocolate patina to the Bronze finish with we’re on the high points showing that this badge was actually used and that the man that wore it was a one heck of an operator. The badge has a slight convex Bend I believe this to be done by the recipient to make it more flush fitting to the uniform and snag free.
