A WW2 group to Lt. Jan Halka was a pre-war Polish Army Cadet, he fought in the September 1939 campaign against the Germans in which he was wounded. From 1940 he was involved in the Polish underground the Armia Krajowa. By 1944 he was a Lieutenant and was involved in several actions against the Germans including sabotage, destruction of trains, attacks on enemy convoys and during one of these attacks he was wounded again. He took part in Akcja Burza in the middle of 1944. Document from Sept 1939 about him being sent to a another unit. German occupation work document with Nazi stamps.
