This medal includes its original ribbon which is attached to a badge ready to wear by the recipient, this also comes with the original box and rice paper packet. The Royal Observer Corps Medal was instituted in 1950 by King George VI for long service by members of the Royal Observer Corps (ROC) in the United Kingdom. It was awarded until December 1995, when the ROC was stood down. This is in excellent condition.

The British War Medal is impressed to the edge: R. JACKSON’ The Long Service And Good Conduct Medal is impressed to the edge’5738 G. Originally serving as a Bugler, he rose through the ranks to QMS in August 1918 and held this rank until his retirement in 1920. Condition The medals are in excellent condition.
