Rare original Medal Grouping: (1) Military Order of Foreign Wars. Full size medal on neck ribbon. Not marked, but tests as 14K gold and is obviously that when you see the detail. Incredible detail with the eagles wings lifted from the surface for a 3D image. Numbered 1445 on the loop. The medal measures 1 5/8 across and the ribbon measures 1 9/16 across. The full length neck ribbon has a BB & B marked device for Past Commander, 1939 New York 1942, and engraved to Anson F. Robinson on the reverse. The medal shows wear and tarnish. The enamel is intact without chips or cracks, but shows wear on the upper ray. The ribbon shows moderate to heavy wear with frayed edges and soiling overall. (2) General Society, Sons of Revolution. Full size medal on original pin back ribbon. Not marked, but tests as 14K gold. Numbered 3377 on the reverse of the eagles left wing. Also marked to Bailey Banks & Biddle Phila. Thin eagle as found on medals from 1889 to 1906. Minor wear to medal, scratches and fingerprints. Moderate to heavy wear to the ribbon with heavy soiling and wear through in a few places on the ribbon. (3) Miniature medal bar with MINIATURE: (a) WW1 Victory Medal, clasps for Oise-Aisne, Champagne-Marne, Defensive Sector (there are some dark spots on the clasps). (b) New York WW1 Service Medal, General Society of Colonial Wars Medal (14K solid gold and enamels). (c) General Sons of Revolution Medal (10K solid gold and enamels): engraved on reverse to Anson Flowers Robinson, May 29, 1917, 4775. Marked BB&B and 10K. (d) Military Order of Foreign Wars. The ribbons are faded and in poor condition. All are intact except for the Sons of Revolution which is torn in the front through and through. One of the scans has 2 pennies for relative size comparison. This is a hobby not a living, so I try to keep it fun, otherwise why do it. _gsrx_vers_625 GS 6.9.7 (625).
