Medal “For Services in Battle” # 152515. Early Type 1942 with Research. Very rare and interesting group of historical artifacts. Of the Second World War. Archival research by medal number in the State Archive of the Red Army (Ministry of Defense of Russia). Very rare medal type – “early type”. Weight about 22-25 gr. The original tape was replaced after damage (the medal was in combat conditions, damage is very likely). Information from archive the Ministry of Defence of the USSR. Old original photo, of the 1940s, the beginning of the Second World War – soldiers of the Red Army in winter uniforms train in attack, due to a shortage of weapons – in their hands instead of rifles – wooden sticks. Size 74 x 104 mm. No reprint, no copy. Production on Moscow state mint. 100% authentic, original old a medal, a tape. And the device for carrying, photo. I acquired this uniform years ago when I lived in Georgia–it belonged to a teens Scoutmaster from Connecticut with the last name of Ford. This uniform is from Sigmund Eisner and has the original Scout metal buttons, the metal BSA pin on the collar, the red and green service bands for years of service, the October 1917 Treasury award for the World War One Liberty Lone campaign and a beautiful early Scoutmaster patch on one sleeve. It is in beautiful condition and I see no imperfections in the uniform. It could be a museum piece.
