These Medals were awarded to L -12477 SJT. & are all as originally engraved. Watch awarded in Civilian Life to Policeman P. Andrews by Colleagues for rescuing a Lady from drowning at Hove 23.7.28. Watch is all Original Naturally aged Condition & is Ticking(small chip on Inside edge of glass but is as was). All Genuine Interest will be Considered. Offered is an original 1911 King George V Delhi Durbar medal. 39mm wide circular silver medal on swivel loop suspension; the face with the crowned head and shoulders portraits of King George V and Queen Mary in coronation robes in relief, facing left within a floreate wreath; the reverse with a central circular panel inscribed Delhi 1911 in Persian script, circumscribed The Durbar of George V, Emperor of India, Master of the British Lands in Persian script; display court mounted. The medal was awarded to some of the military present at the Delhi Durbar held in 1911 to mark the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary and also to others not present to recognise exemplary service.
