US WW2 USMC Marine Corps Uniform Coat Jacket 3rd Air Wing Medals Named. Sterling

For sale here is a good looking named US WW2 USMC 3rd Air Wing Alpha Uniform. The uniform is made of fine forest green wool and features a four pocket front, four button front, and epaulettes. All buttons are present and are bakelite. The jacket is missing its belt and there are two or three moth bites on the back and a couple more on the front. Each sleeve features a wool felt Privates Chevron. The left shoulder features a standard 3rd USMC Air Wing patch. There is a Ruptured Duck patch over the right breast pocket. Both EGAs are present and are matched, unmarked, and appear to be steel. Over the left breast pocket there is a four place ribbon bar that includes a pin back air medal that includes a 2 device. Below the bar is a clutch back unmarked expert rifleman badge and a clutch back unmarked bayonet qualification badge. Above the bar is a sterling pin back air crew badge. Inside, the coat shows some wear and a few more moth nips. In the right sleeve the coat appears to be named to S. In the left shoulder, the coat has another name of Phillips with serial numbers. The coat is also marked 6 and 3-S and is dated 1942-43. This is a great coat that will display well. Armpit to armpit: 18. Top to bottom: 30.5. For sale here is a good looking US WW2 USMC 2nd Air Wing Aerial Gunner Alpha Uniform. The uniform is made of fine forest green wool and features a four pocket front, four button front, and epaulettes. All buttons are present, and are bakelite. The jacket has a newer belt and there is no mothing. Each sleeve features a wool felt Master Sergeants Chevron. The left shoulder features a theater made 2nd Air Wing patch. The lower left sleeve features an Aerial gunner patch. All patches are machine sewn. Both EGAs are present, appear to be matched, and are unmarked brass. Over the right breast pocket is a distinguished unit citation. Over the left breast pocket there is a six place high award ribbon bar. Below the bar is a pin back unmarked expert rifleman badge. Inside, the jacket shows light wear. In the right sleeve the coat is only marked 69. In the left shoulder the coat is sized 4M and dated July 16, 1943, and is made by College Hall Fashions. The following items are included in this lot. 1 US Army WWII enlisted mans Ike jacket , super condition almost problem free One very small moth hole on right lapel, comes with ribbons ETO ribbon with two campaign stars, good conduct, American Defense, WWII Victory ribbon. ALso Sterling silver clutch back Combat Infantry Badge, and Markmanship 2nd Class gunner with rifle Qualification bar(sterling marked) , the jacket has the enlisted mans branch devices of collar. Sleeves have wool on flet Tech 5th grade patches. The left sleeve has the shoulder patch for 83rd Infantry (we couldn’t find him of 83rd rosters) which saw action in Normandy, france, Germany, including Battle of Bulge. The right sleeve has the patch of 89th Infantry (thru records search we found him attached to the 355th Infantry 1st Batt HQ) which saw campaigns in France and germany. A great condition jacket size 38 regular made dec 12 1944. One WWII US Army enlisted man’s wool olive drab khaki shirt truly amazing condition the Quartermaster tag is still in tail bright readable, size 14 1/2 with 33 inch sleeves. Also has the anti gas flap in front. One pair of heavier wool darker green field trousers, they show heavy proffessional sewing repairs see photos waist size inches inseam is. One Mohair Khaki neckie standard issue see photo six for flaw. One pair of Class A uniform pants trousers olive drab wool with anti gas fly flap. Great shape size waist 30 inches 77 centimeters, inseam 32 inches 82 centimeters. Assorted personal items and effects: paybook dated Aug 5th 1945. One pocket sized copy of the New testament Bible, Good Conduct Medal in box, with lapel pin, ribbon is on uniform. A stunning group of great condition WWII named uniform grouping.
