100% GENUINE FULL SIZE & CORRECTLY NAMED. M, WW2 Defence Medal, GVR T. M & EIIR 1st type I. To- 4152 / 510238. Field served with the 47th London division. Royal Engineers & later served with the R. He was awarded his ISM in the London gazette 21-7-1953 for his services as assistant superintendent, London postal region. The group is mounted as worn with the exception of the ISM that is mint with case of issue. NEF/EF & complete with MIC & gazette details. Pair of medals given to Jacob Mulac of Cleveland, a native of Bohemia, Austro-Hungarian Empire and later Czechoslovakia. Named award shown is serial numbered on edge 56870, or perhaps 58870. Comes with his victory medal with St Mihiel, Meuse Argonne and Defensive bars, all as clean as the first medal, there is a ribbon for the first medal, no ribbon for the victory. This Pilsen, Bohemia native was a replacement to the 47th Inf, 4th Div, AEF. Ohio state records office printout shown is included. ALL ITEMS ARE ORIGINAL AND PERIOD.
