101st Airborne DI Crest Patches Hats Caps WWII Infantry Insignia. This is a WWII Soldiers Grouping. This includes everything you see. I dont know a lot about this as it was a estate sale but it all came together. There is no name that I see but there is a WWII Soldiers Laundry number in one of the caps. After reading on the internet I found that a lot of people are researching using the soldiers laundry number and having great success. This very rare lot includes 1 Soldiers Wounded Medals and 1 Star Medal. The wounded Medal is a nice WWII early sewn Slot Brooch and the same is for the Star Medal. This includes a couple Ribbon Bar. There are 2 — 101st Airborne Patches with one showing signs that it was sewn on at one time. These do not glow under a black light. There is 1 old whistle that is marked with a P shield type logo and USN 1944. There is 1 (set of 2) DI Crest Insignia 101st Airborne Division appear to be late war or early 1950s clutch backs marked Denmark N. There is one Sharp Shooting Qualification Badge with 3 Bars. This is marked Sterling. The top bar is for Rifle and is marked Sterling. The other 2 look like they were added at a later time not marked. There is 1 (set) of 2nd Lieutenant gilt bars pin back, one has some corrosion. There is one DUC Distinguished Unit Citation. There are 2 Infantry officers type Collar insignias. There are 2 overseas Hats with blue piping. One is tan and the other is Dark OD Elastique Garrison type. The Dark one has an Infantry Insignia Device and a Satin lining. This is all used with age.
